Summary

We invite organisations, groups, and individuals working in Internet infrastructure, climate resilience, emergency response, or community support to join us in this important work.

Whether you'd like to actively participate in the coalition, have some experience or expertise you want to feed into the research, or simply want to stay informed about the project's development, we welcome your engagement.

Ways to participate

Options to consider

Here’s some key options to consider, with further details below:

  1. Project inputs: share insights or provide inputs with coalition members, or share your work with the project team (medium commitment).
  2. Become a coalition member: join us as a core member of the research coalition (highest commitment).
  3. Updates: sign up for updates and notifications about the project work (lowest commitment).

Additional options

There may be other opportunities to participate as the work progresses, including as identified by the coalition members! If there’s another option that would work better for you, consider reaching out to let us know.

Knowledge and experience

We need more than just people with formal job titles and qualifications

It’s really important that this work doesn’t leave people feeling too intimidated to participate.

Ultimately, this work is about the impact of climate change and Internet infrastructure on communities.

People with formal expertise in a range of areas have an important role to play, but the work can’t succeed if it doesn’t include people who might not see themselves as experts with formal qualifications.

Suggested subjects and background areas

Here’s some areas and subjects that we’d like to see reflected in the coalition membership and in the broader research project.
